A Tour of Easton's Revolutionary War Graves
Take a tour of the historic Easton Cemetery, one of the world's most unique resting places. Founded in 1849, this cemetery is the oldest romantic parklike cemetery in the US, being a place not only of rest but of recreation. Graves vary in artistic style, from Gothic to Art Deco, and many famous individuals are buried here. On this tour, we'll stop by some graves of Revolutionary War soldiers, as well as the headstone of George Taylor, signer of the Declaration of Independence. Join this tour to hear about these interesting individuals and learn fun facts about this famous cemetery! This tour is for adults only, and space is limited. Register beginning July 6.
Walking up short inclines is required.
The tour will meet at the 7th St, Easton entrance to the cemetery. Street parking is available there. Please plan to arrive at least 10 mins before the tour begins.
