July 2026 in Downtown Nazareth -That's a Wrap!
What an exciting July downtown Nazareth has had. We kicked it off with an epic Nazareth Celebrates America 250 celebration. The Moravian Historical Society was host to a wonderful community event. Our day began with Nazareth’s quirkiest tradition, the Annual Kazoo Parade. This year was extra special as we had the Brandywine Colonial Fife and Drum Corp lead the way. Dressed in full regalia, they were a sight to behold. The Memorial Library of Nazareth & Vicinity Ukulele Band provided great music before and during our patriotic program honoring our veterans. The Nazareth Farmers Market relocated to the lawn of the Whitefield House to join the fun. They were joined by additional vendors and a wide variety of food trucks. Unity Bank had tethered hot air balloon rides. Craig Thatcher and Time Whys provided musical entertainment.
We were honored to have Chris Martin IV, the 6th-generation owner of the iconic guitar manufacturer, C.F. Martin & Co., join us and share his passion and stories from his over 35 years at the helm of the company. He and Craig Thatcher shared the stage for mesmerizing presentation. One we will not soon forget.
The NEDC was proud to be a part of this amazing celebration of history, culture and Nazareth. A BIG thank you to all our sponsors, the Nazareth Kazoo Parade Committee and the Nazareth Historical Society for collaborating together to bring the community this event. Plans are already in the works for next year! Stay tuned.
The Nazareth Days celebration kicked off with the Nazareth at Night Block Party. The first block party in several years to enjoy rain free skies. Music, food, local vendors and lots of kids activities all in celebration of Nazareth. Unfortunately, Saturday’s weather prompted the Nazareth Days Committee to move the events to Sunday, the first time the Nazareth Days needed to use the rain date. Sunday turned out to be a perfect day and the Nazareth Boro Park was packed with vendors, musicians and visitors.
The month wrapped up with the Chamber of Commerce's Martin on Main festival. This year’s event may have been the best one yet. The food and vendors were amazing and the music line up was fantastic. The Nazareth Farmers Market loves being a part of this event. A big thank you to the Chamber, the Nazareth Center for the Arts, The Unofficial Martin Guitar Forum and Martin and Co. for bringing this event to town. We love being a part of it.
We had such a great time celebrating in July, we cannot wait until next year!
